AutoCAD – user manual
Operating system: Windows
Programming language: Visual Basic, AutoLISP
Database engine: OLE DB (Access)
The first version of AutoCAD was initially available for MS-DOS and Apple Macintosh systems, but was soon ported to other platforms, including Sun, UNIX, and Windows NT/2000.
The current version of AutoCAD is AutoCAD 2020 (2020 is the current major release), which was first released on September 12, 2009 (for AutoCAD LT only) and AutoCAD 2013 (2013 is the current minor release).
AutoCAD is a sophisticated and fast 2D and 3D CAD program. Using the latest techniques in computing power and graphics hardware, it’s capable of producing extremely high-quality drawings while also performing exceptionally well on most available computers.
AutoCAD is also fully integrated into Autodesk’s other professional-level software, including the same network connectivity and internet web services used to provide its On-Demand services and support (Partner Program, Premium, and Ultimate).
In addition to native Windows applications, AutoCAD is available as a web application, allowing for collaborative work with AutoCAD users in a networked work environment. It is also available as a native mobile app for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
History of AutoCAD
AutoCAD began as one of the first tools from the beginnings of computer-aided design (CAD). Its original releases were the first of its kind, with the first version of AutoCAD for the Apple Macintosh running on a Motorola 68000 processor with 16K of memory. It was the first commercially available CAD program on a Macintosh. In addition, it ran faster than any other CAD program available at the time.
Beginning with AutoCAD 2, the first version for MS-DOS, the program ran natively on IBM/PC-compatible computers with the introduction of 16-bit architecture. AutoCAD also introduced enhancements that included the ability to produce 3D drawings, although the program lacked many of the advanced capabilities that have since been added in later releases.
AutoCAD with Design Manager
AutoCAD LT (formerly AutoCAD Drafting Suite) was the first version of AutoCAD available for Windows. It was launched in October 1998, when AutoCAD was first released for MS-DOS and Windows 3

Since AutoCAD R13, the Autodesk DWG format is used to store 2D drawing data.
AutoCAD 3D is available for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and UNIX platforms. Drawing files created in AutoCAD 3D can be imported to AutoCAD and exported to other software. Objects and text in the drawings can be annotated and labeled.
Sketching in AutoCAD 3D is more like the traditional mode of working in AutoCAD. While there are some differences, the most significant is the lack of an “edit” tab. The fact that the sketching interface is completely separate from the drawing interface, and that you can sketch independently of the exact layout and appearance of the drawing, means that you can more easily create a description of a situation to someone else, and they can then convert the sketch to a drawing using other tools in AutoCAD.
There is no 3D wireframe (triangulation) mode. Instead of thinking about a planar projection of a 3D object, the user must think of each plane in the drawing as a coordinate in 3D space.
The UI has undergone many changes since AutoCAD 2009. A simpler, more intuitive and easier-to-use user interface was introduced with AutoCAD 2014, which was extended to other applications of Autodesk in 2016.
AutoCAD objects can be cut, pasted and merged with other objects.
Some 3D objects are:
3D solid shapes
3D revolved shapes
3D datum lines
3D lines and arcs
3D lines and surfaces
3D vector styles
3D relational drawing (RDs)
3D drawing history
3D axis visual styles
3D annotation visual styles
3D scalars (distance, angle)
3D dimension styles
Autodesk 3D Warehouse
Autodesk 3D Warehouse is a catalog of 3D models that use the.dwg format. Models can be viewed, downloaded, printed, updated
Open the program (AutoCAD) and load the downloaded file.
Launch the Autocad keygen and wait until it is ready to generate the keys.
A summary window will display a list of the Keys generated.
Finally, close the software and start using it for the selected new key, without opening it in the previous Autocad version.
Demo of using the keygen
How to regenerate the key
There are two ways to regenerate the key.
The first one is automatic and it will generate all the keys within a preset time.
The second one is manual and it will generate all the keys for your complete selection one at the time.
The automatic way
It generates the keys automatically after a certain time, specified by the program. In the demo, we have set the time to 60 seconds and all the keys are automatically generated in the previous version.
The manual way
You can choose to generate only the selected key in a specific version of the software. If you press the Generate button and wait for the software to produce a summary window with the generated keys, the software will generate the key of your choice in the specified version. This option is useful when you have multiple keys generated in the previous version that you want to replace with new keys in the new version.
Manual generation of keys
The manual generation of keys is the main difference between the keygen and the replacement of the key. The main purpose of the keygen is to give the possibility to generate the new key without opening the software.
This can be done in two ways:
First by selecting the files from the generated files list and starting the software with the selected files. The generated files will be used and the software will start from the start point for the current version.
Second by selecting the files from the generated files list and starting the software with the files of the previous version. The software will start from the start point for the previous version.
What’s New in the AutoCAD?
The new AutoLisp scripting environment offers more control over coding operations and languages. (video: 2:24 min.)
Back to Basics:
Selecting the toolbars and their icons, or even the entire ribbon, has never been easier. AutoCAD provides a fresh look and easier navigation with a new tree-based toolbar panel and icons. (video: 1:52 min.)
Built-in 3D Modeling:
Automatically position your model with the “view” axis, and quickly position it with the new “pose” tool. (video: 3:21 min.)
The ArcToolbox has been enhanced for more precise geospatial features, including geographic layers. (video: 2:34 min.)
AutoCAD has been enhanced with Intelli-Sense, a useful, context-sensitive help feature. From a single keystroke, you can search for help topics relevant to the drawing and in multiple languages. (video: 2:59 min.)
New User Interface:
Easier and more flexible navigation through the user interface, including adding and removing panels. (video: 2:29 min.)
AutoCAD has increased performance, with the ability to load complex models in CAD systems faster than ever before. (video: 2:55 min.)
Import existing drawings from earlier releases into new releases of AutoCAD.
Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) technology provides a common way to exchange graphics, control how they are displayed, and retain the original quality, features and advantages of graphics that are scalable and vector-based.
AutoCAD Xchange XDesigner software provides embedded interactive applications using the SVG format. With XDesigner software, you can build SVG-based web applications that can run on multiple operating systems. You can collaborate on drawings across multiple users, devices and software platforms, using mobile and desktop devices for a true mobile design environment.
Go live with automatic 3D coordinate conversions. Automatically convert 2D and 3D coordinate systems, move points to align with the model, and scale and pan the model on its own axes.
3D CAD modeling:
• NEW: 3D wireframe line, surface and volume analysis
• New: 3D dimensions and fit
